The challenge
V2C manufactures electric vehicle chargers from Spain and needed to make the leap into the main European markets. Selling through distributors was no longer enough: to truly compete in Portugal, France, Germany and Italy it needed its own subsidiaries, with a local bank account, a VAT number and proper tax compliance from day one. Coordinating four different countries, each with its own language and regulations, was its biggest obstacle.
How we did it
- We incorporated its subsidiaries in Portugal, France, Germany and Italy, choosing the optimal legal structure in each market.
- We assigned a Spanish-speaking local advisor in each country as the single point of contact for the entire process.
- We handled the full paperwork: notary, registration, bank account opening and tax registration.
- After incorporation, we took care of the taxation, accounting and payroll of each subsidiary.
The result
Today V2C is the leading manufacturer of electric chargers in Europe. Its four European subsidiaries are fully operational and the company invoices more than €30 million a year, without its team having to travel or deal with local administrators.
